Integrating the National and Regional Perspectives |

Integrating and managing health information is a focus of organizations and governments in many countries around the world. In addition to the national perspective and focus, many industry leaders believe that a regional information integration effort is required to effectively include the different stakeholders in the health ecosystem and to create more value. This session examines the need for integration in supporting the public policy agenda of national health leadership and the technological and operational challenges in implementing national health information systems, as well as the operational challenges and best practices of regional integration.
