Developing a strategic plan to transform the campus with an increasingly accessible IT environment

"HP solutions have enabled us to transform our IT infrastructure into one that facilitates and delivers simple access to an enhanced learning environment while delivering greater support efficiency. This helps Grove City College hold down the overall cost of tuition, making us extremely competitive and attractive to prospective students."

- Dr. Vincent F. DiStasi, Chief Information Officer and Associate Professor of Chemistry, Grove City College

Recommended in 2004 by The Young America's Foundation as one of the Top Ten Conservative Colleges in the country based on overall student experience, Grove City College has remained true to the vision of its founders for over 120 years. It fosters intellectual, moral, spiritual, and social development consistent with a commitment to Christian truth, morals, and freedom. Long recognized for its academic quality, Grove City College insists that
graduates possess a high level of cultural literacy, strong
communication skills, and specialized knowledge in major or professional fields. Today, 2,300 students attend liberal arts courses at Grove City College in Grove City, Pennsylvania, for four years.

Eleven years ago, the College recognized the need for a laptop PC program. Faculty wanted students to understand the potential ramifications of using technology to better their lives, and to be PC literate for future careers.

From the outset, the College decided that the laptop program would be standardized on a top tier PC vendor. Today, as HP seeks to close the economic and social divide by using information technology to empower individuals previously excluded from the benefits of the information revolution, HP equipment has evolved as the standard for Grove City College.
