H06.19 is a generally available release version update (RVU) of the HP NonStop Operating System, Mission Critical Edition, supporting single core HP Integrity NonStop servers. H06.19 shipments begin on September 9, 2009.
Highlights of RVU H06.19 include the following new and enhanced functions, as well as general defect repair:
- Release of SQL/MX 2.3.3 which contains the following features:
- Improved query performance with the addition of constraint-based query pruning.
- Enhanced functionality with support for queries involving a large number of table unions.
- Improved performance with a new FASTCOPY command that allows users to copy data (i.e. rows and indices) between similarly structured tables.
- Improved system security with Safeguard enhancements including:
- Audit for disk file operations such as CREATE, OPEN, READ, PURGE, WRITE, and RENAME, now includes the Guardian file system error when it is non-zero.
- A new Safeguard global configuration attribute that controls the audit generation for the TACL LOGOFF and TACL EXIT operations.
- Greater cluster performance with the introduction of the BladeCluster solution.
- Improved SOAP performance by increasing the size of SOAP messages to 2 MB.
- Improved manageability with time synchronization between the Cluster IO Module (CLIM) and the NonStop system.
- Increased security with Visual Inspect through the use user id and password encryption.
